Week 2 Vietnam

Hi Room 2
I have now travelled down to the bottem of Vietnam and are at a Big city called Ho chi Minh. In this city they have 4 million scooters and it is very hard to cross the road. I have been down to the Mekong Delta where I went on a river boat dinner cruise. I also went for a ride up this river to look at the floating markets where they sell vegetables from their boats. The Mekong Delta is a very big brown dirty river. People's houses are on the river and when it floods the river washes into their house. 34 people died from flooding last week.
On my way to Ho chi Minh we travelled in a sleeping bus for 23 hours and while I was sleeping someone stole my iphone :(  The toilet on the bus didnt have any water and it was very smelly.

Rugby Skills

On the first day of rugby skills we practiced kicking a rugby ball at the cones and hoops. It was fun by Pepa-Jay
The rugby coach told us to find a partner and kick the ball to them. We had to look at the person we were kicking it to. By Abby
We had to listen to the coach about the rugby skills we were practicing because we didn't want to hurt someone. My partner was Charlie and we got stuck on kicking it to the other person and Charlie kicked it too hard. By Daniel
When Paul taught us to kick we had a kicking competition  into the net and I got it in. Miss Veale kicked it over the posts and it nearly went over the fence. By Charlie

Weather Balloon

Today we went up to the airport to watch the weather balloon be released. They let a weather balloon go 3 times a day.
The balloon is filled with hydrogen. Hydrogen is a very dangerous gas and it can explode. so it is filled up inside a metal hut. They put a tracker on the bottom of the balloon and that sends signals to the radar.
